The heart of Germantown, the CBD is at the crossroads of Poplar Avenue and Germantown Road. This area includes the historic Old Germantown and its Railroad Depot, as well as the Municipal Center, where the civic buildings such as City Hall, the Library, The Germantown Athletic Club and the Germantown Performing Arts Center are located. 1. Saddle Creek Shopping

Saddle Creek is the first shopping center in the nation developed as a Lifestyle Center and with its central location in Germantown, Tennessee; it is still one of the best. Its curving lines, archways and fountains, as well as its exciting mix of famous name shops, have attracted the area's most discerning shoppers since 1987.

2. City Hall

Germantown City Hall contains several departments and services, including Administration, human resources, finance, municipal court and the police department.

3. Thornwood

The first mixed-use development in the City to utilize the SmartCode, Thornwood is comprised of five phases and will include retail, office, and multi-family.
